Sunrise for Children is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization established in Washington State. Sunrise for Children exists to make a difference in children's lives and is dedicated to helping specifically oppressed children in Washington and across the world live a better quality of life.
Sunrise for Children was formed in 2004 by Dr. Abraham Ghorbanian of Sunrise Dental. Abraham’s father was a child labor for several years. The images of children in slavery have always weighed heavy on his mind. Through his hard work, he was able to gain the support and resources to channel his passion in abolishing slavery and trafficking by founding Sunrise for Children.
The U.S. ended slavery once and
we can do it again.
